06.06.2014 - Dr. Ashraf M.Hamdan MD, FACS (Aesthetic, Plastic & reconstructive surgeon) explains that from his point of view the Lebanese plastic surgery industry is facing a deep crisis. High-quality surgery cannot compete to low-level offers, sometimes done illegaly and without necessary safety. This is leading to an irregulated market where hig-level surgeons soffer the consequences of a ruined image by low-level plastic surgeries. Another problem is the growing complexity and costs of the machine used to make aesthetic treatments: due to this the quality of the surgeons is becoming less important.
