26 Jan 2016 - Sinjar, Iraq. Lokman cooks bread at the Resitance Bakery which serves also the iraqi police. He is a member of YBS (Yazeede militia) and he came back to the city one month ago from Dohuk. He sleeps inside the bakery. He is really worried about the future as he spent over 30 years building his house and now it is destroyed. He claims that Peshmerga steals from Yazede houses as a form of discrimination, due to this he doesn't trust them anymore. He claims also that Yazidi Peshmerga doesn't receive the same weapon of other Peshemrga and he is now only thinking of seeking for refugee in Europe. He also complains the fact the nobody his helping Yazidi to liberate nearby villages still under control of ISIS Sinjar had been invaded by ISIS/Daesh on the 3rd of August 2014. The city has been officially liberated in November 2015 cutting the road used by the jhiadi group as a supply route between Raqqah and Mosul. The city is today a ghost town inhabited almost only by military groups such as Kurds Peshmerga, PKK, Iraqi Police and YBS (Yazidi Sinjar Resistance Units). At present, the frontline is less than 4km from the city centre and ISIS/Daesh fighters regularly shoot mortars attacks inside the city.
