06 Aug 2015 - Hakim Bakhtiar, 17, son of the owner of this weapon shop in the Bazar of Erbil. Selling, modyfying and repairing weapons is a full-time job for people of his family since the generation of his grand-father. Befor the current war many weapons were easily sold to everyone even without permissions now they sell only to Peshmerga fighters which show proper documentation as they are afraid of selling to ISIL/Daesh. The Walter gun is his favourite weapon and he claim that now it is a not very good time for business because many more military shops has opened up. One of the onldest rifle in the shop is more than 200years old and Hakim says he is very happy happy and proud of his job because powerlful tribes men from all over Kurdistan come to their shop to buy weapon an they have great respect for Bakhtiar family business. Also a cousin of the President Barzani is a client of the shop and bought his weapons here before going to Gwer front, one the most important in the war against ISIl/Daesh
